Desert Roof: Research Studio 2023

The project uses a Desert Roof, which connects an evaporative/radiant roof with a rammed earth, radiant wall to keep the occupants comfortable in extreme heat.​

​By integrating these elements, the design optimizes thermal comfort and enhances energy efficiency. This innovative approach offers shelter in desert landscapes while reducing heat gain and fostering a sustainable solution for extreme climates. ​
