NYC LIGHTOPIA: Bioclimatic Studio 2023

The wellness center, located at 16 W 55th St in bustling Manhattan, aims to provide a much-needed space for urban residents who lack access to psychological healing. Specifically, the center is designed to address seasonal affective disorder (SAD), a form of depression that is related to seasonal changes. The building's design features light therapy rooms with varying levels of lights, also designed to be energy-efficient and sustainable.
